Fearless Food – how to talk to your teens about food, nutrition and the joy of eating
The P&F proudly invites parents and caregivers of Mount St Benedict College to our second parent forum for the year on Monday 6 May fousing on adolescent nutrition.
As parents, we want the best for our kids, and this includes helping them to eat food that will nourish them now and into the future. But what happens when our daughters (and us!) are bombarded with mixed messages from influencers, media, the food industry, and peers, about “good foods” and “bad foods”? How do we help our daughters to enjoy all food, without guilt or shame, while still supporting them to mostly eat a wide variety of nutritious foods?
Join us for an information session from Katie Booth, Accredited Practising Dietitian (and mother of two teenagers) that aims to help you find ways to talk fearlessly about food with your teens while still encouraging them, subtly, to eat more veg!
When: Monday 6 May
Start Time: Arrival from 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Tea/coffee served on arrival.
Finish time: 8.00pm
Where: Mount St Benedict College, Hildegard Theatre.
RSVP:
Thursday 2 May. Numbers are limited.
Click here to register.
Cost: Free
Please note that this presentation is for parents and carers.
We hope you can join us on this evening.
Kind regards,
Juliet Mearns

to register your attendance to ensure you are sent a link.
At this meeting we will be electing the MSBESA Committee, which controls and manages the affairs of our association. This includes our office-bearers and at least three and a maximum of 15 ordinary Committee members.
The office-bearers of our Association are as follows:
- the president;
- the vice-president;
- the treasurer; and
- the secretary
Ex-Students who are interested in nominating someone (or even yourself!) as an office bearer need to do so in writing. MSBESA’s constitution requires nominations to have:
- the endorsement of two other MSBESA members, and
- the written consent of the individual you are nominating
- You can make this nomination via email.
This nomination must go to the Secretary (via Michelle Blackman, the College’s Development and Archives Assistant MBlackman@msb.nsw.edu.au ) at least seven days before the meeting, by Monday 6 May.
There is no need to nominate for an ordinary Committee member position, you can show your interest for these position at the meeting.
If you would like some support in reaching out to MSBESA members to endorse an office-bearer nomination, please advise the MSBESA Secretary as soon as possible and we will assist you.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Annual General Meeting.
