Tickets on sale now: The Year 11 Play - Queens by Kristen Doherty
Year 11 Drama have been rehearsing with enthusiasm and dedication this term on their class production of Queens by Kristen Doherty.
The play sees King Henry VIII trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by a sinister Fool and the ghostly Women in White. Here in his gilded cage, he is forced to relive the sins he committed against his queens, mistresses and people of the court, over and over again, for an eternity.
The class auditioned for parts in Week Three and have been also working on their own designs for either costumes, sets or poster promotion.
They look forward to welcoming an audience to engage in this One Act Play in the first week of Term Two on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 May. The play will begin at 6.30pm and runs for approx one hour.

How to Buy and Sell MSB Second-hand Uniforms
How to Buy and Sell MSB Second-hand Uniforms
Mount St Benedict College is committed to extending a garment’s life cycle. Our College uniforms are of the highest quality and are built to last making them the perfect item to be reused.
Buying second-hand uniforms has a positive social and environmental impact. Making new clothing from scratch uses valuable resources and contributes to pollution. Reusing something that already exists reduces waste, has a positive effect on our planet and reduces the number of uniforms that end up in landfill.
Buying second-hand uniforms is great for your wallet!
Growth spurts happen very quickly in children, most families find that they need to replace uniforms every few years, if not yearly. The cost of purchasing new uniform items adds up very quickly.
Selling outgrown uniforms is a great way to recoup some of those expenses.
The Sustainable School Shop
Mount St Benedict College second-hand uniforms and text books are currently sold through the website The Sustainable School Shop.
Please note: the online textbook code is not transferable when purchasing second-hand textbooks.
The Uniform Exchange in Pymble
In addition to this, the College has now partnered with The Uniform Exchange in Pymble. The Uniform Exchange is a physical shop in Pymble where items can be bought and sold. Any bought items come with a 14-day return option.
As this is a new venture, they need any spare uniforms that you may have to sell. Items can be dropped off at the Pymble shop during their opening hours. Please make sure that any items to be sold are in good condition, washed, ironed and on a hanger ready for sale.
If you are looking to purchase, we ask that you call before visiting to check their available uniforms.
