MSB Traffic Management
MSB Traffic Management
As the renovation of the MSB Centre and College car parks is now complete, please read these traffic management safety reminders.
1. Restricted Vehicle Access to College Grounds:
-
Please do not enter the College grounds by car or block access to the College driveways on Pennant Hills Road and Hull Road between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.
- The Hull Road driveway is close to the corner of Pennant Hills Road, and staff and students regularly access this entry. Please do not use this driveway to turn around at any time.
2. Parking Regulations:
- There is no parking access on College grounds during the school day unless prior approval has been given.
3. Safe Drop-Off and Pick-Up Areas:
-
Safe drop-off or pick-up areas include Hull Road, Loftus Road, Wilson Road, and the designated pick-up and drop-off zone on Killaloe Ave, Pennant Hills (at the rear of the North Connex depot).
-
Students must use the pedestrian access bridge to cross Pennant Hills Road.
- Students arriving at the bus stop on Pennant Hills Road must use the zebra crossing to access the College. Students must not walk across the College's main driveway on Pennant Hills Road, as drivers have limited visibility.
- Students are not to be dropped off on the College side of Beecroft Road or on Pennant Hills Road at any time, as this is highly dangerous and breaks the road rules.
- Please be considerate of residential driveways when dropping off and picking up students and parking.
4. Use of Public Transport:
- Students are encouraged to use public transport for travel to and from the College. The College also operates some private bus services and a shuttle to and from the Cherrybrook Metro Station.
5 . Consideration for Local Community:
- When driving is necessary, senior students are advised to be considerate of the local community when parking in residential areas.
We ask for your continued support with the measures the College has taken to ensure student and staff safety and the management of traffic.

Class of 2024 College Ring Orders
Year 12 students and parents are reminded that payment for Year 12 College Rings is due by Friday 7 June.
Please ask your daughters to use the ring sizer on the table near Student Services for their ring size which needs to be included on the form.
Mount St Benedict Ex-Students Association (MSBESA) introduced a College Ring in 2014, marking the beginning of a new tradition for the Year 12 Graduation.
The design of this quality piece of jewellery incorporates the Mount St Benedict College Crest and is made from sterling silver. The graduating Year 12 students (2024), as well as the College name will be engraved on the inside.
This is parting gift from the Ex-Students Association, who subsidise the cost of each College Ring presented at Graduation.
Please place your orders over the weekend.

Free CALD Wellbeing Parenting Workshops
Free CALD Wellbeing Parenting Workshops
The community team at Sydney North Health Network are putting on several free CALD wellbeing parenting workshops.
The format of the webinar is that a health expert will speak about the adolescent brain and its changes and how parents and carers can support their young person to achieve overall wellbeing and to address any challenges that the young person may be facing.
After the health expert speaks, a panel of three people will discuss three challenging scenarios that a family may encounter with their young person.
These scenarios would be of a challenge facing parents and their adolescent that is culturally specific and sensitive.
The panel will be made up of a GP, a social worker, a mental health professional and a counsellor in drug and alcohol.
