Uniform and Device Reminders
Uniform and Device Reminders
We appreciate that families are working hard to ensure that their daughter's dress/skirt reaches to the bottom of the knee . The College extended the date to Monday, 16 February, to allow families to adjust hems or purchase new items. If there are any issues, students should speak to their Head of House. Many thanks to Mrs Keogh and Mrs Johnston, who were available at lunchtimes this week teach the girls how to lengthen their hems at lunchtimes.
Families may also consider visiting the Uniform Exchange in Pymble for secondhand MSB uniforms. The shop is open on weekdays from 9.30am-5pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Uniform Exchange advises calling 9988 3374 or 0466 969 734 to check stock availability before visiting.
Students have been reminded
- Mobile phones should be locked in lockers during the school day. Any girl with her mobile on her during the course of the day will have it confiscated and a detention will be issued. Three phone confiscations will result in a meeting with parents.
- A reminder also that the College issued laptops should be used appropriately and for the purpose of learning.

Canteen Update – Moving to Cashless
Canteen Update – Moving to Cashless
From the beginning of Term One, the Vanilla Blue Canteen has moved to a cashless system.
How students can pay:
- Order online via Flexischools
- Pay at the counter using EFTPOS
- Use their Student Card
Moving to a cashless system will help to speed up service, reduce queues, and create a more efficient experience for students at recess and lunch.
Helpful Links:
- Download Flexischools / Set Up an Account: https://flexischools.com.au/

Thank you for your support as we implement this change.

Reminder About Parking Near the College
Reminder About Parking Near the College
The College has received complaints from local residents located near the Hull Road driveway. It has been disappointing to hear of cars regularly parked over resident driveways and instances of double-parking, particularly around 3 pm on weekdays during the school term.
All members of our community should be respectful of our neighbours when parking and picking up their daughters. Just as importantly, we remind you that student and pedestrian safety is a priority for us all. Unsafe or illegal parking can pose serious risks to students and others navigating busy streets during peak times.
Please note that it is illegal to park across a driveway, even partially and that offenders can face fines exceeding $320. Parking rangers from Hornsby Council will be regularly patrolling the area.
Please:
- Allow clear access to all driveways.
- Avoid parking on curbs or nature strips.
- Park only on one side of narrow streets.
- Do not use the College driveway to turn around, as this creates serious hazards for students, pedestrians, and other drivers.
- Consider an alternative pick-up point if the area is too congested.
We also remind families that there is to be no student drop-off or pick-up via the College's Hull Road entry at any time.
In addition, we encourage the use of public transport options available from the College, including the free Bennies shuttle bus service to and from the Cherrybrook Metro.
Hornsby Shire Council road safety officers have been at the College recently and have issued warnings to some of our parents. The Council have the power to issue fines and demerits to any drivers disobeying the road rules. Please see the image for parking and traffic rules in school zones.
Thank you for your continued cooperation in supporting both our students’ safety and our positive relationship with the local community.

After-School Canteen Service
After-School Canteen Service
After-school activities and hungry students? We’ve got it covered!
We are pleased to offer an after-school canteen service to support students who remain onsite for cocurricular activities, study sessions, or other school events.
Parents and carers can place an after-school order for their child via Flexischools. Please note that orders must be submitted by 9:00am on the day.
A limited selection will also be available for purchase at the counter, including drinks, snacks, cookies, ice-blocks, and any remaining food from the day.
The extended canteen hours will operate Monday to Thursday, from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.
We hope this service provides a convenient option for families and supports students staying onsite after school.
